Emergency Relief

Education & Empowerment

Empowering children through education is one of GEM’s main pillars of service. They currently offer educational programs in Haiti at elementary, middle and high school institutions. Their educational programs give children the chance to better themselves by covering the basic essentials including:

Through their educational programs, GEM has been able to provide a full education and scholarship opportunities for 50 students in Jacmel, Haiti. Emergency & Permanent Housing

In the event of a natural disaster, like an earthquake or hurricane, GEM also provides transitional housing for those whose homes have been destroyed. In 2013, the founding team of GEM placed Haitian families who lost their homes in the 2010 earthquake in permanent homes.
